Haynes, III is a passionate leader, captivating orator, author, educator and activist engaged in fighting against racial injustice; committed to increasing economic and social justice in urban areas; and devoted to transforming the lives of the disenfranchised. For over twenty-six years Dr. Haynes, serving as senior pastor of over 12,000 members of Friendship-West Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. His out-of-the-box approach to ministry reaches across generations, class and ethnicities providing a relevant and functional truth that can be applied to everyday life.
