Ever think the more things change, the more they remain the same? The Colored Museum was written in 1988 during post-Vietnam War era. The beginning takes place on an airplane that travels through time. The airplane visits different museum exhibits, which display a variety of events or lifestyles from African-American culture and history. The events range from the time Africans were brought to America as slaves through nearly recent times. Full of comedy and truth, you don't want to miss this TheatreSouth Production.
The Colored Museum will be showing at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts & Community center located at 3181 Rainbow Dr Decatur, GA 30034. The show opens Oct. 30, 31, and Nov. 1, 2009.
