More About Me
Resilience Multimedia is a New York-based publisher of quality African-American and Latino books. Its latest book is the highly praised "Think Outside the Cell: An Entrepreneur's Guide for the Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated," by Joseph Robinson.
Resilience's founder is Sheila Rule, a journalist at The New York Times for more than 30 years before retiring in order to dedicate herself to Resilience. She started writing to the incarcerated about seven years ago as a volunteer for the Riverside Church Prison Ministry and was so inspired by the rich talent she found behind prison walls that she started Resilience.
We invite the incarcerated, formerly incarcerated and their loved ones to contribute personal, real-life stories for possible inclusion in upcoming books in the "Think Outside the Cell" series, which is being funded by the Ford Foundation.
