Big G. I am in agreement. Just because you can doesn't mean you should. Actually the definition of a hate crime is criminal acts which are seen to have been motivated by hatred of one or more groups. Technically burning a book is not a crime if it…

This thing is bigger than we all realize. The mosque has only two muslims on the board. This so-called mosque is said to have plans to have places of worship for the other religions. True muslims are not going to worship in the same place as the oth…

Burning the Quran, Is pastor Terry Jones Out of his mind?

A nondenominational church in Gainesville Fla. and its pastor are planning on burning the Holy Quran on September 11,2010. Is this man thinking about the reprecussions this act will bring about? This is the bible of the muslims. I know that many people feel that the muslims were responsible for the 911 attack on the WTC. I don't believe they did but that is another story. Even if the lie was true; you can't blame all muslims. Many American agree with what this idiot is trying to do. It goes w

Why do young black females desire learning more than the young black males?

I ask myself this question and I have no answer. The drop out rate of the young black females is considerably smaller than that of the young black males. What is it that makes the young black male lose focus? It could be the people to whom they look up to. It is not for me to second guess those who have become wealthy by throwing a ball around or those who have mastered the mic. I just know that everybody can not be a jock or a rapper. We need some role models who stand for more than money. I

Times have changed, But

Race relations in the United States are very important. Our country would be a lot better if people of all colors were treated the same. Some will argue that we are all treated equally. I guess it depends on what window you view this. Those of previledge might take a stand that is based on what they have and how money paves a path of contentment. Socio- Economics plays a major role in how one is treated in the US. The haves see the world in a different light than the have nots. There are more ha… Continue

Bigger Crumbs!

Many people in our society; black and white are saying that in the United States everyone is treated equal. I can understand the white view but when I hear a black person speak this nonsense; it pisses me off. How and why did those blacks who say this come to this false conclusion? I know that some black are treated a certain way but what about the rest of our race. Must be the money. The cash is the only thing that counts in our capitalistic world. What about those who have very little money

THE THINGS THAT MONEY CAN'T BUY

MANY PEOPLE THINK THAT MONEY CAN'T BUY HAPPINESS. I SAY THAT IT CAN AND HAS FOR SO MANY PEOPLE. WHY DO WE GO TO COLLEGE? WE GO THERE TO GET AN EDUCATION THAT WILL INTURN LAND US A GREAT JOB. WHAT DOES A GREAT JOB GIVE YOU? A GREAT JOB GIVES YOU MONEY. ALL YOUR BILLS ARE PAID, YOU CAN PROVIDE A SIMILIAR EDUCATION FOR YOU CHILDREN. THE ONLY THING THAT MONEY CAN'T BUY IS HEALTH. THAT IS IF YOU ARE ALREADY TERMINALLY ILL. I KNOW YOU ARE THINKING THAT MONEY CAN'T BUY LOVE. MONEY HAS NOTHING TO DO

IT'S YOUR CHOICE
Proverbs 15:13 A happy heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. (NIV)
Recently, I read that a person can make themselves happy or sad. At first I thought, "how can that be?" But, after reading the rest of the article, I realized what the author meant by that.
If a person is sad, and puts on blues music and doesn't open up the blinds...what kind of mood do you think that person will remain in? They will continue to be sad, because they are not doing anything in the natural to get out of that mood. In order for that person to get out of the sadness, they need to put some uplifting music on (praise and worship music, preferably). They also need to open up the blinds to let the sun shine through, or they need to go outside and do something they have once enjoyed doing. Doing these things will help put them on the track to getting out of that funk.
Have you ever been in a good mood, and when you got home, the mood of your loved one changed your mood to being sad or angry? In essence, what was on them rubbed off on you. Why? It was in the atmosphere already.
The man who wrote this article said that we CHOOSE to be happy or sad. The choice is up to us. We can't help what things may happen to us. But we can CHOOSE how we respond to things. So, what will be your choice today?

If you can get your hands on DNA Pirates of the Scared Spiral by Dr. Len Horowitz. IT WILL BE A EYE OPENER. It is a hard read...not because of the concepts or the vocabulary because the science he breaks it down so that a lay person can grasp it but the COLD NAKED TRUTH ABOUT WHAT HAS AND IS TAK'N PLACE. When you get it let me know I will give you some page numbers to read straight away...regarding who was behind the anthrax scare... . At first when my eyes were opened and I started to see the truth I was facinated...now I am driven. I see the world through and entirely different lense.

Mr Smith, I totally agree. This is one of the motivating factors that encourage me to write and realease my upcoming book; The Underlying Truth Behind At-Risk Youth( who is really to blame?) I believe sometimes forget that extended family is included in that support process. Many of our Black boys may not have fathers in the home, but they have auncles, grandfathers, and male friends of the family who could perhaps mentor. We men need to step our game up in that aspect.
