I ask myself this question and I have no answer. The drop out rate of the young black females is considerably smaller than that of the young black males. What is it that makes the young black male lose focus? It could be the people to whom they look up to. It is not for me to second guess those who have become wealthy by throwing a ball around or those who have mastered the mic. I just know that everybody can not be a jock or a rapper. Race relations in the United States are very important. Our country would be a lot better if people of all colors were treated the same. Some will argue that we are all treated equally.
