Everyone needs some type of hero in their life, adults as well as children. We read books, watch television and go to the movies in search of such a person. Whether the hero is fictional or not, it doesn’t matter; as long as our thirst is quenched. We choose our heroes because they do the things we can’t, won’t or are afraid to do. I have designed a character that does all three. Robin Sagna is an everyday person, like you and I, but yet he’s a hero to many. Below is the introduction to this man amongst men, who works as a mild mannered tax auditor for the IRS. However, whenever there are injustices being committed against the poverty stricken citizens of our communities; Robin Sagna becomes “ROBIN from the HOOD.”

Since the dawn of time mankind has had its legends. The Africans, Greeks and Romans had their Gods. The Spanish had Don Quiote and the Germans had The Lorelei. The English adopted Robin Hood and the early Americans made legends out of Paul Bunyan and John Henry. The twentieth century introduced Superman, Batman and countless other super heroes. However, now that the twenty-first century is upon us, it’s time for a more contemporary, type of legend/super hero to take center-stage. It’s time to tell the stories about an urban legend who fought for the rights of the people living in the ghettoes and other low income area across America. It’s time the world knew about “ROBIN from the HOOD.”
