DISCUSSION: INTERNET RADIO@ISeeColor.com ... NEED or WANT?
... it's all about Internet Radio!
Need or Want? ... Right now ... for me ... it's a 'WANT' ... I want to see 'an internet radio operation' inside of ISeeColor.com ... An Internet radio operation that is entertaining, informative, and one that will begin the process of repairing our 'images'. Over the last 1/2 century (or more) those 'images' have taken a beating ... Along comes this 'global medium' that will allow us to communicate on that level, globally, and with this medium in our grasps, along with 'the understanding' of it ... participate in the re-shaping of those mis-aligned images of US ... yeah ... that facinates me ... to no end!
I see an opportunity here in ISeeColor.com to be a part of process of re-shaping our images ... with an Internet radio operation included in its activity.
And please ... this topic was opened ... for discussion !
ACE Mendez approached me in the last few weeks about 'partnering', pooling our resources, skills and creativity to make this an ISeeColor.com 'thing'! He was most convincing and very sure of what he was taking about ... He's a cool brotha ... and here in Orlando, Florida ... yeah ACE count me in!
"Inclusive, Support" ... I think, is where we found common ground. Inclusive: Internet radio's ability to include OUR thoughts ... and (at this point in its development) the time and freedom to explore our thinking a little deeper than conventional radio has ... Our talents ... we are writers that need that initital break, our musical talents, and our businesses, and this menu could go on ... and on ... but !
Support: and I would start with the www.ISeeColor.com web site ... and its interaction with Michaels day-time show ... This place is growing like none other ... We are seeing people loging from other parts of this 'world' ... and here is a medium that can 'cost effectively' accommodate those demands ... *if that's the direction ... ;0)
yeah! ... This internet medium will show us its ability to 'support' ... as did cable in the late 70's with local broadcast tv stations ... and when it locks on ... we will see 'NEED'! ...

I've been to a few sites that have this ex:USTalkNetwork it's a cool feature as the members get to voice their opinions and concerns as the show airs in sametime with the air personal who is on at that time. I think it's a great forum for the chatroom. But if you do have this I will need to stop listening and get my fix on with MB @ 3pm....:-)

I would like to see a group started for educating our youth. The contents being infromation on scholarships that are being offered by HBCU's and how our youth can get started toward pursuing their degree in their area of interest BEFORE they begin college.

We are frequenting the AOL-Ebony 50+ Love's part of Black Voices, BlackPlanet.com's 50 Something, and Earth Wind and Fire's Fan Club chat rooms, these social, 'like minded' enviroments have created 'connections' that makes a CYBER BIRTHDAY PARTY a real experience, for those of us who use this internet environment for what it can be. It's entertaining ... let's try it ... I got a thought ... ;0)
